TESTIMONIALS FROM AUTHORS
From editorial to a professional production team second to none, BRIO provided us with the best possible price, experience, and quality for my novel, Littluns, AND THE BOOK OF DARKNESS. Everyone should really see for themselves. There’s simply nothing else out there that could surpass their level of excellence.
-Mark Glamack, Author Stephanie Johnston, General Manager, Littluns, and the Book of Darkness

I found BRIO’s website on Google one night when I was desperately searching for a way to get my 2 Children’s books published. They were just done by Authorhouse and were shoddy and embarrassing. I was so displeased by this and the communication with them, that I was nearly in tears. There were several newspaper and magazine articles coming out within a couple of weeks heavily promoting our book debut, but we had horribly designed books with bad color and material. They were flimsy and looked more like pamphlets, instead of the hardcovers we were promised. BRIO and their wonderful design team saved my projects in time. I recommended them to my husband, an author, as well. He is now printing his 2 books with them. I would tell anyone to only go to BRIO!

I just had to write and tell you how beautiful my book looks and feels and what a professional job you did. It certainly will be able to be sold in any bookstore and look just as good as most and even better than some. I appreciate your professional and kind service always with a smile in your voice. I feel lucky to have found you, Sadie and the entire BRIO operation. Thanks for always being there by phone, email, or fax. I always felt supported. You take the time to care and it really shows. I’m recommending you to anyone who would like a professional looking book at a fair price. Thanks again.

It was my good luck to find BRIO and my pleasure to work with this fantastic company over the last three years. BRIO has printed two hardbound books for me. My print runs are in the multiple tens of thousands. These books, The Many Adventures of Pengey Penguin, and my just released, The Further Adventures of Pengey Penguin are now recognized as true children’s classics. They are rated G-General Audiences and appeal to all ages. They can be read aloud as soon as your child tires of their picture books and is ready for the written word. I knew I had something special with my Pengey Penguin series with all I had to do to get them to market; printing was the last thing I wanted to worry about. I couldn’t have done it without the help and guidance from the BRIO team members, Will Reynolds and Sadie Cross, just to mention a couple in the team that had all the right answers at the right time. As a first time publisher, I quite possibly made every mistake known to the publishing industry. But that’s where BRIO reigns top notch in the printing industry. They took the burden of printing off my shoulders. With their intensive prepress work they manage to find the smallest mistakes and correct them. When I needed help formatting my manuscript for the presses, BRIO was right beside me guiding me every step of the way. Yes, publishing is a complicated process but with BRIO on my side my, books have the quality books that others dream of and at a price that makes POD look a little shabby by comparison. Great design work, expert customer care, instant FTP connections available 24/7, problem solving for even the toughest formatting situations, and the competitive pricing that kept my profit margin in mind. I know I could have printed in China and have saved some money. But I am proud to say that I print in the USA and I use BRIO. For the pennies I might save printing overseas I have the peace of mind knowing that there’s someone looking out for me. BRIO, how refreshing to do business with a company that actually cares.

I used BRIO for design and editing of my book Grammar Today: The New American Language and Grammar Primer. I worked with Russ Boldt and others. My experience was that Russ and others prepared the text and cover necessary for an attractive paperback. They worked in a timely fashion and were always available by email or by phone so that the project ran smoothly and was completed on time and within budget. Their talent and creativity went a long way toward making the finished project successful.

BRIO has managed all of our printing needs for the past 3 years and I must say they have done a great job. I must be honest, we were a little concerned in the beginning about using a printer so far from our local office, but I must say your service has been great every time! We don’t get the service from a printing company located one mile from our office that we receive from the BRIO Company. Thanks again, looking forward to another 3 years.

-Neal Lozano, Author, Will You Bless Me?

When we needed to have a second printing for our history of Warrenton, we were under considerable financial and time constraints, due to problems with an out-of-town printer. Impressed by their online presentation, we chose to go with BRIO. We not only got a top quality publication, delivered on time; the folks at BRIO “had our back” throughout the process, correcting the problems that came up and providing us with excellent communication. All this at a cost far below the other printers. I look forward to the next time we can work with BRIO.

After years of writing for other people and saying, “One day I’ll write my own book,” that day finally came. I had a completed, edited project with my cover designed and the job ready to go. After having at least five quotes to choose from, I wasn’t yet satisfied with a company. Who would I trust “my baby” with, that could compete cost-wise, and give me the quality I wanted? Through a web search, I located Brio. I checked some of their work out from authors who had their books on Amazon. Impressed, I sent in a custom quote. William was great to work with, got my price back quickly, answered my calls, and really followed through with me. My files were uploaded and Courtney contacted me to start the process. Totally professional, yet personal in every way—with every phone call and e-mail. Their process is stream-lined and they deliver on time. So, the big day—I received my books. They looked awesome! Even better than I anticipated. The quality exceeded my expectations. And with my final price, I could actually afford to self-publish and self-market as I wanted. I have no hesitations in recommending the folks at Brio to partner with you in printing your first book or your next book!

Hi Courtney, just had to write and let you know how wonderful the books look. They are everything and more than I expected. Working with you and Sadie has been an absolute pleasure. Both of you did everything you said you would, were always available to talk to and, your designer did a splendid job choosing the colors and borders for the cover of my book. Your designer picked the best drawing for the back cover and overall the book impresses everyone and anyone who sees it. Once again, thanks so much for the love and caring you brought to my project. I look forward to working with both of you again when I reorder the next printing, which I am hopeful will be about 5000 books this time. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much Courtney. I was new to publishing and so nervous…then I met you, BRIO. The customer service was amazing! I remember calling on a Friday, the staff was in a meeting and the owner of the company answered the phone. The owner! We chatted like old pals. He talked about the new baby he and his wife were expecting, we talked about life in general. We laughed, he told jokes, I couldn’t believe it. From day one, my initial contact with Katie Olson to you, Courtney Bomkamp I felt like a part of a family. I knew you would take good care of me, and you did. The outcome, the book is beautiful! I literally cried when I saw it. To simply say thank you is not enough. I am forever grateful for an experience that I will always remember.
